Working Student - Frontend Development in Digital Health

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate Working Student in Frontend Development to join our Digital Health Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work remotely and contribute to making the healthcare system more digital and smarter. As a Working Student in Frontend Development, you will support the development of innovative applications at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence, health, and research. You will be involved in creating user-centered, data-driven systems that deliver real value for patients and professionals.

What You'll Do

• Assist in the development and enhancement of modern frontends for digital health applications using Angular, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Integrate AI-supported features such as chatbots, data visualizations, and decision aids into existing applications.
• Support the conception and design of user-friendly UI components, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Collaborate with backend and AI developers to create functional and performant overall solutions.
• Conduct research on current technology and framework trends to keep our applications at the forefront of innovation.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in studies related to Computer Science, Media Informatics, Medical Informatics, Health Informatics, or a comparable field.
• Experience in frontend development with Angular, TypeScript, or JavaScript.
• Basic knowledge in UX/UI design or a strong interest in user-centered design.
• Good knowledge of German and English.
• Initial exposure to topics like Machine Learning, Data Science, or Digital Health is an advantage.

Nice to Have

• Experience with responsive design frameworks.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Interest in healthcare technology and its impact on patient care.
