About the Role

We are hiring a Senior Mobile Frontend Engineer (React Native) to join our innovative team at edirq. This role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere in India. As a Senior Mobile Frontend Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing our next-generation social media platform. You will be responsible for shipping and operating production mobile apps using React Native and Expo, ensuring quality and stability throughout the development lifecycle.

What You'll Do

  • Develop mobile applications using React Native (Expo) for both iOS and Android platforms.
  • Manage App Store and Play Store releases, including versioning and release cycles.
  • Fix post-release bugs and implement ongoing improvements to maintain product quality.
  • Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, product managers, and backend engineers to enhance the user experience.
  • Take ownership of assigned features and gradually participate in technical decision-making as the role evolves.

Requirements

  • At least one mobile app shipped to production using React Native.
  • Hands-on experience with Expo, including understanding managed and bare workflows.
  • Strong fundamentals in React Native, including navigation and state management.
  • Comfortable debugging on real devices and working independently.
  • Willingness to embrace remote work and collaborate asynchronously with a US-based team.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Expo EAS for builds and updates.
  • Basic knowledge of Swift or Kotlin.
  • Experience in mobile CI/CD and startup environments.
