About the Role

We're hiring a Senior Fullstack Developer (Java & Angular) to join our dynamic team at Oepfelbaum IT Management AG. This role offers the chance to work remotely while contributing to innovative IT projects in the banking sector. As a Senior Fullstack Developer, you will engage in fullstack development using Java for backend and Angular for frontend, ensuring high-quality software delivery.

What You'll Do

  • Implement business requirements from the banking and financing sector into a modern financing application.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to analyze and clarify customer requirements.
  • Enhance and optimize existing applications focusing on quality, performance, and maintainability.
  • Initiate and execute technical optimizations along DevOps disciplines, including Jenkins pipeline optimization and automation of build and deployment processes.
  • Participate in cloud migration projects and the development of modern operational and architectural concepts.
  • Ensure stable and efficient application operations throughout the entire lifecycle, from development to production.
  • Contribute best practices, new technologies, and improvement suggestions within the project and team context.

Requirements

  • Solid experience in fullstack development with Java (backend) and Angular (frontend).
  • Strong knowledge of Java, Spring (Boot), Angular, and SQL.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, particularly Jenkins, and a good understanding of modern DevOps principles.
  • Experience in agile development environments, ideally with Scrum and/or SAFe.
  • Experience in the banking or regulated environment is advantageous, especially in handling complex requirements.
  • Familiarity with Kotlin, PL/SQL, and PostgreSQL is a plus.
  • Understanding of software architectures, clean code, and sustainable technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills and a confident demeanor when interacting with clients.
  • Fluent in German and proficient in English.

  • Experience with cloud technologies and platforms.
  • Knowledge of additional programming languages.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle methodologies.
