Senior DevOps Engineer - Remote Position at WattFox

About the Role

Join WattFox as a Senior DevOps Engineer and take your career to the next level in a fully remote environment. In this role, you will collaborate with the Product Owner, internal development teams, and external developers to enhance our Lead Management Platform. You will utilize state-of-the-art DevOps methodologies to ensure our internal processes run smoothly and efficiently.

What You'll Do

  • Optimize and automate internal processes related to the operation and maintenance of our Lead Management Platform.
  • Manage and develop our CI/CD pipeline, conduct regular code reviews, and oversee release management.
  • Design, develop, and maintain C# code (.NET 8) in close collaboration with all stakeholders.
  • Ensure seamless integration of our Lead Management Platform within the WattFox ecosystem, guaranteeing effective communication between all components.
  • Specify, implement, and maintain internal and external interfaces, including databases, CMS, and CRM systems.

Requirements

  • Completed degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive experience in developing, deploying, and operating infrastructure, services, and applications on Azure Cloud using modern DevOps practices.
  • Strong proficiency in developing and maintaining C# code based on .NET and distributed systems.
  • Passion for end-user experience and business strategy, combined with a self-driven work ethic.
  • Fluent in English and proficient in German (minimum B2 level).

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with GitHub and Atlassian tools (Jira/Confluence).
  • Knowledge of continuous integration and release management best practices.
