About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Rocky Mountain Region Program Manager to join our team remotely. In this role, you will lead various conservation initiatives and manage projects aimed at enhancing forest health and reducing wildfire risks. As a Rocky Mountain Region Program Manager, you will play a crucial role in collaborating with stakeholders, managing funding mechanisms, and ensuring effective project planning and execution.
What You'll Do
- Oversee and coordinate conservation projects across the Rocky Mountain region, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Engage with stakeholders, including government agencies, non-profits, and community organizations, to foster collaboration and support.
- Manage grant administration and funding mechanisms to secure financial resources for projects.
- Lead project planning efforts, including setting objectives, timelines, and budgets.
- Conduct data analysis to assess project impacts and inform decision-making processes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in program management, preferably in conservation or natural resource management.
- Strong understanding of project planning, funding mechanisms, and grant management.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in data analysis and reporting to evaluate project outcomes.
- Ability to work independently and remotely while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with federal funds management and procurement processes.
- Experience in ecosystem restoration and land management.
- Knowledge of SaaS tools and Agile methodologies.
