Remote Staff DevOps Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure Expert
About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Remote Staff DevOps Engineer to join Bugcrowd, a leader in cybersecurity. In this role, you will drive the strategy, architecture, and execution of our cloud infrastructure and developer productivity platforms. As a Remote Staff DevOps Engineer, you will act as a force multiplier across engineering teams, enhancing reliability, security, and delivery velocity for our cloud-native, API-first Security Knowledge Platform™.
What You'll Do
- Define and drive the long-term DevOps and platform engineering strategy aligned with engineering and business goals.
- Architect, build, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure.
- Lead the adoption of modern practices such as Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance developer productivity and streamline workflows.
- Implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the team.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps or related engineering roles.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
- Expertise in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Solid understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience in security-focused engineering roles.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks (ISO, SOC, etc.).
