Remote Project Manager - Corporate Events

About the Role

We are seeking a Remote Project Manager to lead our Corporate Events team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing various corporate events from inception to completion, ensuring they meet client expectations and are delivered on time and within budget. As a Remote Project Manager, you will collaborate with clients and vendors to create memorable experiences that align with our organizational goals.

What You'll Do

• Oversee the planning and execution of corporate events, ensuring all aspects are managed effectively.
• Coordinate with clients to understand their needs and expectations for each event.
• Manage budgets, ensuring all events are delivered within financial constraints.
• Lead a team of event coordinators and support staff, providing guidance and support throughout the event planning process.
• Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to secure the best services at competitive prices.
• Utilize Microsoft Office and event technology tools to streamline operations and enhance event delivery.
• Conduct post-event evaluations to assess success and identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in event management.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the events industry.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with event management software.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Experience in budget management and financial analysis.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage time effectively.

Nice to Have

• Experience with virtual events and event technology.
• Knowledge of B2B marketing strategies.
• Certification in project management (PMP or similar).
