Remote DevOps Engineer - Cloud & Kubernetes Specialist

About the Role

We are looking for a Remote DevOps Engineer to join our innovative team at InfStones. As a Remote DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of our infrastructure. This position is perfect for individuals passionate about DevOps, cloud technologies, and automation.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain DevOps processes and practices.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like GitLab, Terraform, and Ansible.
• Architect, deploy, and manage cloud platforms, particularly AWS and Linux-based systems.
• Implement and maintain security best practices across all environments.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and performance.
• Continuously optimize infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support across multiple teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent of 5 years experience in DevOps or related fields.
• At least 3 years of experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and CI/CD tools such as GitLab.
• Expertise in deployment and management of Kubernetes, especially EKS.
• In-depth knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) and tools like Ansible, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
• Proficient in programming and scripting languages such as Python, Golang, Shell, Java, and JavaScript.

Nice to Have

• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
• Previous experience with microservices architecture.
• Understanding of agile methodologies and continuous improvement practices.
