Physical Therapist Assistant - Remote Opportunities

About the Role

Blue Stone Therapy is excited to announce an opportunity for a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) remote position. Since 2009, we have been dedicated to providing high-quality rehabilitation services across the Midwest, and we are looking for passionate individuals to join our team. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional care to our adult and geriatric patients.

What You'll Do

• Provide skilled physical therapy treatment in accordance with established plans of care.
• Implement individualized treatment programs focused on functional and measurable outcomes.
• Treat adult and geriatric patients in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting and rehabilitation settings.
• Monitor patient response to treatment and communicate progress with the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation to support quality care and reimbursement standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and facility staff to support positive patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current Physical Therapy Assistant license (or eligibility for licensure) in applicable state.
• Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or post-acute rehabilitation preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and clinical reasoning skills.
• Commitment to patient-centered care and professional standards.

Nice to Have

• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Knowledge of current rehabilitation practices and protocols.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
