About the Role
Blue Stone Therapy is excited to announce an opportunity for a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) remote position. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional care to our adult and geriatric patients.
What You'll Do
- Provide skilled physical therapy treatment in accordance with established plans of care.
- Implement individualized treatment programs focused on functional and measurable outcomes.
- Treat adult and geriatric patients in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting and rehabilitation settings.
- Monitor patient response to treatment and communicate progress with the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation to support quality care and reimbursement standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and facility staff to support positive patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
- Current Physical Therapy Assistant license (or eligibility for licensure) in applicable state.
- Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or post-acute rehabilitation preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and clinical reasoning skills.
- Commitment to patient-centered care and professional standards.
Nice to Have
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Knowledge of current rehabilitation practices and protocols.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
