Payroll Coordinator - Remote Opportunity
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Payroll Coordinator to join our team remotely. As a Payroll Coordinator, you will be responsible for completing all business office tasks performed at the facility level, including payroll, personnel management, accounts payable, and general administration. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.
What You'll Do
- Maintain all personnel records and employee medical records in compliance with company policies.
- Assist families with the Medicaid eligibility process, documenting all follow-up actions until completion.
- Process accounts payable according to business office policies and procedures.
- Prepare reports for the administrator using our computer data system.
- Maintain select patient/resident records, both paper and electronic.
- Coordinate the daily flow of financial information to and from the central billing office to facilitate timely billing and collection of accounts receivable.
- Perform all duties as trust fund custodian per Resident Trust Fund policies, including weekly reconciliation.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 1 year of accounting, bookkeeping, or record-keeping experience, preferably in a medical setting.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain regular attendance and work independently.
- Familiarity with payroll systems and financial documentation.
