Operations Supervisor - Remote Management Role

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team at Texas Pride Disposal. This Operations Supervisor remote position will allow you to manage collection routes and oversee driver and laborer performance from the comfort of your home. You will ensure that all operational activities are conducted safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards and regulations.

What You'll Do

• Organize and schedule resources to accomplish daily activities effectively.
• Plan, distribute, monitor, and follow up on route assignments to ensure timely service.
• Manage the end-of-day check-in process, capturing key service, safety, and equipment issues.
• Monitor driver and laborer time and attendance, minimizing overtime while maintaining productivity.
• Review weekly demand and volume for routes, recommending re-routes as necessary.
• Set and monitor productivity, service, and safety targets to enhance operational efficiency.
• Conduct root cause investigations for all injuries and incidents to promote a culture of safety.
• Visit customers and sites to evaluate and resolve safety issues proactively.

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D.; Associate's Degree preferred.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification (T3, T4, T5, T6, T7, T2, ASE T Master Certified).
• CDL Class B or higher with a safe driving record.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.
• 6 years of experience in maintenance working with class 8 refuse trucks.
• 3 years of supervisory experience in operations or maintenance roles.
• Thorough knowledge of safe working practices, DOT, OSHA, and other federal and state regulations.
