About the Role

At Anchorage Digital, we are seeking a Member of Technical Staff, Trading (Derivatives) remote to join our innovative team. This role is pivotal in implementing front office and back office trading systems used by institutional investors globally to trade, invest, and exchange cryptocurrency assets. As a part of our team, you will help shape the future of finance in the rapidly evolving crypto industry.

What You'll Do

  • Implement and maintain trading systems that facilitate cryptocurrency transactions for institutional clients.
  • Utilize your expertise in the trading system domain to influence the technical direction of the Brokerage team.
  • Drive iterative system improvements through robust instrumentation and metric collection.
  • Review code from other developers to ensure quality and consistency across the Brokerage engineering team.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with various teams to ensure knowledge sharing and prevent single points of failure.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience with Go programming language.
  • Experience in modern software development practices, including automated testing and cloud development.
  • Strong understanding of financial asset trading systems, including order execution management systems (OEMS) and FIX protocol.
  • Real-world experience building financial trading systems is essential.
  • Passion for software engineering design and implementation practices such as TDD and SOLID principles.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with GraphQL and gRPC API design and implementation.
  • Background in the finance industry.
  • Experience working with digital assets and cryptocurrency trading.
