Literary Editor for Educational Materials - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Literary Editor for Educational Materials to join our team remotely. In this role, you will focus on literary editing of educational and methodological literature for preschoolers. As a Literary Editor, you will ensure that our materials are engaging, educational, and ready for publication. What You'll Do

• Perform literary editing of educational books, methodological guides, and workbooks for preschoolers.
• Prepare the edited materials for layout, including file handling and layout markup.
• Collaborate with the artistic editor to find or order illustrations for the materials.
• Oversee the entire process from manuscript receipt to final submission for online publication and social media promotion.
• Manage projects using 1C software to track progress and ensure timely completion.
• Participate in the preparation of promotional materials for advertising and project promotion.

Requirements

• Proven experience in literary editing, preferably in educational content.
• Strong understanding of preschool educational literature and its requirements.
• Familiarity with layout preparation and project management tools, particularly 1C.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.
• Attention to detail and a passion for enhancing educational resources.

Nice to Have

• Experience in marketing or promotional activities related to educational projects.
• Knowledge of graphic design or illustration processes.
• Familiarity with social media marketing strategies.
