Literary Editor for Educational Materials - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Literary Editor for Educational Materials to join our team remotely. In this role, you will be responsible for the literary editing of educational and methodological literature aimed at preschool children. What You'll Do

• Perform literary editing of educational materials, including books, methodological guides, and workbooks for preschool children.
• Prepare the edited materials for layout, ensuring they are ready for publication.
• Collaborate with the artistic editor to source or order illustrations that enhance the educational content.
• Oversee the entire project lifecycle from manuscript receipt to final submission for website and social media publication.
• Manage projects using 1C software, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
• Participate in the preparation of promotional materials to advertise and promote projects effectively.

Requirements

• Proven experience in literary editing, particularly in educational contexts.
• Strong understanding of preschool education and the ability to tailor content accordingly.
• Familiarity with layout preparation and project management tools, especially 1C.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
• Attention to detail and a passion for enhancing educational materials.

Nice to Have

• Experience in marketing or promotional content creation.
• Knowledge of digital publishing platforms.
• Familiarity with graphic design tools for illustration sourcing.
