Literary Editor for Educational Literature - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Literary Editor for Educational Literature to join our team remotely. In this role, you will be responsible for literary editing of educational and methodological literature aimed at preschool children. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of engaging educational materials while working from the comfort of your home.

What You'll Do

• Edit and proofread educational materials, including books, methodological guides, and workbooks for preschoolers.
• Prepare the edited materials for layout, ensuring proper formatting and design.
• Collaborate with the artistic editor to source or order illustrations that enhance the educational content.
• Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from manuscript receipt to final submission for online publication and social media promotion.
• Manage projects using 1C software to track progress and maintain organization.
• Participate in the preparation of promotional materials to effectively market the projects.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a literary editor or in a similar role, particularly in educational publishing.
• Strong understanding of the needs and interests of preschool-aged children.
• Excellent editing and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with project management tools, preferably 1C.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Nice to Have

• Experience in creating educational content or teaching materials.
• Knowledge of current trends in early childhood education.
• Familiarity with digital publishing platforms.
