Literary Editor for Educational Literature - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Literary Editor for Educational Literature to join our team remotely. In this role, you will focus on editing educational and methodological literature for preschoolers, ensuring high-quality content that engages young learners. As a Literary Editor, you will play a crucial role in the preparation of materials for publication, from manuscript to final layout.

What You'll Do

• Edit and proofread educational books, methodological guides, and workbooks for preschoolers.
• Prepare manuscripts for typesetting after editing, including file handling and layout markup.
• Coordinate with the artistic editor to source or order illustrations for the materials.
• Oversee the project from manuscript receipt to final submission for online publication and social media promotion.
• Manage projects using 1C software for tracking and documentation.
• Participate in the preparation of advertising materials and project promotion strategies.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a literary editor, particularly in educational literature.
• Strong understanding of editing processes and methodologies.
• Familiarity with typesetting and layout preparation.
• Experience in project management, preferably using 1C software.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
