About the Role

We are excited to announce a unique opportunity for a talented Graphic Designer to participate in the 2026 Pencil Festival Poster Competition. This is a remote position where you will have the chance to showcase your creativity and design skills. The festival is inspired by the tradition of the old Russian fairground and aims to bring joy and laughter to all. As a Graphic Designer for this competition, you will create a vertical poster that embodies the festival's slogan: “For all the children who are tired of being adults.”

What You'll Do

• Design a captivating festival poster that includes the festival logo, slogan, and names of the headliners.
• Participate in two tracks: classic poster design and AI-assisted poster design.
• Collaborate with festival organizers to ensure the design aligns with the festival's theme and vision.
• Submit your design by the deadline of March 15, 2026.
• Engage with the festival community and promote your design through social media.

Requirements

• Proven experience in graphic design, preferably with a focus on event or festival branding.
• Strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and creativity.
• Familiarity with design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar tools.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Passion for arts and culture, and an understanding of the festival's ethos.
