About the Role

We are seeking a talented Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team at Coderio. In this remote role, you will lead the design and development of scalable solutions for high-performance platforms while collaborating with technology leaders and cross-regional teams. As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable full stack applications using Java or Golang.

What You'll Do

  • Lead architecture and system design decisions for performance and scalability.
  • Administer and optimize AWS resources and internal platforms.
  • Promote best coding practices through code reviews and mentorship.
  • Identify and implement technical improvements for efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer required.
  • Excellent communication skills in English are essential.
  • Must reside in Spain and be open to freelance engagement.
  • Experience with event-driven architectures is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Strong experience with Java or Golang for backend development.
  • Proficiency in modern frontend frameworks like React.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud environments, especially AWS.
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented design principles.
  • Proven ability to deliver clean, maintainable code.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools is advantageous.
  • Interest in optimizing engineering workflows.
