About the Role

We are seeking a Freelance UK General Editor to join our dynamic team at Omniscient Digital. This remote position focuses on editing long-form articles, blogs, and SEO content for our B2B SaaS clients, including industry leaders like SAP, Adobe, Loom, and Hotjar. As a Freelance UK General Editor, you will play a crucial role in transforming SEO and content into growth engines for our partners.

What You'll Do

• Edit content for grammar, tone, clarity, and flow in accordance with UK English conventions.
• Collaborate with writers to enhance structure and clarity of articles.
• Fact-check statistics, claims, and sources to ensure accuracy.
• Apply SEO best practices while maintaining readability and engagement.
• Meet tight deadlines, typically within 24–48 hours.
• Communicate proactively with the editorial lead to align on project goals.
• Ensure consistent formatting and terminology across all deliverables.

Requirements

• Fluency in UK English with a strong command of British grammar and style.
• 2+ years of experience editing B2B, SaaS, or technical/SEO content.
• Detail-oriented and quality-driven with a commitment to high editorial standards.
• Collaborative mindset and openness to feedback.
• Reliable and focused on meeting deadlines.
• Curiosity and analytical skills, with a knack for researching unfamiliar topics.
• Process-driven and adaptable to various tones and style guides.
