What You'll Do
- Drive the healthy growth of the engineering organization by hiring high-caliber engineers and mentoring team members.
- Refine the engineering roadmap and create technology strategies that support operational excellence.
- Lead a team of engineers responsible for the entire self-custody experience, including managing and transferring digital assets.
- Collaborate with Product Managers to ensure alignment between product plans and team capabilities.
- Influence team growth, retention, and hiring processes while fostering a high-performance culture.
Requirements
- 8+ years of technical experience as a full-time software engineer.
- 3+ years of leadership experience in a formal people management role.
- Experience managing engineering teams within the blockchain space.
- Proven ability to lead distributed teams across varying time zones.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have
- Experience with applied cryptography and blockchain protocols.
- Background in finance or experience with self-custody wallets.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Go, Rust, TypeScript, and Solidity.
