Director of Marketing - Remote Position at DoubleVerify

About the Role

We are seeking a Director of Marketing to join our team at DoubleVerify, a leading software platform for digital media measurement and analytics. This remote Director of Marketing role will oversee marketing efforts in Japan, ensuring that our brand stands out in a competitive landscape. You will collaborate with US-based corporate marketing teams and regional sales leadership to develop and execute innovative marketing strategies that raise awareness for the DoubleVerify brand.

What You'll Do

• Create a region-specific marketing strategy and plan that establishes the DoubleVerify brand in Japan.
• Conduct a competitive review for the region, including a SWOT analysis.
• Understand current sales strategy, regional growth goals, and priorities.
• Collaborate with the VP of Marketing to develop a cross-channel marketing plan with specific KPIs.
• Execute cross-channel marketing programs, including localization of existing content and materials.
• Track and report on program success, making recommendations for adjustments based on KPIs.
• Identify appropriate events for participation and coordinate involvement, including speaker identification and materials development.
• Develop strong relationships with internal teams and external clients to enhance marketing efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or communications; Master’s Degree is a plus.
• Experience in marketing, preferably in ad tech, agency, or media company.
• Fluent in Japanese and English.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent writing and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of media marketing and the sales process.
• Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and familiar with Salesforce and Marketo.

• Experience with HootSuite.
• Contacts within the Japanese market.
• Experience in developing and executing regional marketing strategies.
