What You'll Do

• Perform all tasks in line with site health, safety, environmental and community policies, systems, and procedures.
• Respond to priority breakdowns and carry out on-site service and repair work on machinery.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment while identifying and recommending improvement opportunities.
• Order parts and accurately maintain service and maintenance records.
• Conduct self-inspections and take personal accountability for safe work practices, quality workmanship, and efficiency.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and customers.
• Work safely both independently and within a team environment.

Requirements

• Trade qualifications as a Diesel Fitter, with heavy industry experience highly regarded.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills, with the ability to resolve complex mechanical issues.
• A genuine commitment to maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
• A proactive approach to safety, continuous improvement, and teamwork.
• The capability to work independently in field environments while also contributing effectively within a team.
• Auto-electrical knowledge or skills (advantageous but not essential).

Nice to Have

• Experience with hydraulic systems.
• Knowledge of heavy machinery operations.
• Previous experience in a mining or industrial setting.
