Comms Associate - Remote Position for Ethereum Foundation
About the Role
We're hiring a Comms Associate to join the Ethereum Foundation's dynamic team. This remote position is perfect for someone eager to grow in the communications field while supporting the Ethereum ecosystem's outreach efforts. As a Comms Associate, you'll play a crucial role in enhancing our communication strategies and expanding our presence across Asia.
What You'll Do
- Manage our social media accounts daily, including drafting engaging content and responding to inbound requests.
- Expand the Ethereum Foundation's communications presence in Asia by building relationships with local media and communities.
- Plan and execute livestreams, ensuring smooth hosting and engaging content delivery.
- Produce guest threads and articles on various platforms, collaborating with ecosystem authors to draft, edit, and finalize content.
- Conduct ad-hoc research to support our social media and marketing strategies, monitoring analytics to evaluate success.
- Work closely with the Digital Studio team to create compelling assets for social media campaigns.
- Develop comprehensive content strategies, including drafting and visual creation.
- Take on additional responsibilities as our team grows and evolves.
Requirements
- High energy and the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Curiosity and a willingness to ask critical questions to improve our tactics.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a relevant communications or marketing position.
- Language skills in Mandarin, Korean, or Japanese are a plus, along with knowledge of key Asia social networks.
- Familiarity with TikTok, reels, and other video-based social media formats is desirable.
- Basic knowledge of Figma and video editing skills to create simple graphics and short clips.
- A keen interest in AI-assisted workflows and a desire to learn.
