We are seeking an Automation Technical Specialist to join our team at Lensa. What You’ll Do

  • Design and develop PLC and HMI applications using Rockwell and Siemens technologies.
  • Execute onsite and remote startups, with approximately 30% of your time spent in regional fieldwork.
  • Revise and troubleshoot existing code while developing new automation systems.
  • Collaborate closely with internal engineering, sales, and end users to design control panels.
  • Own the full lifecycle of automation projects, from specifications to commissioning.
  • Adapt to various roles within a tight-knit, engineering-driven team.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in PLC/HMI programming, preferably with Allen-Bradley.
  • Solid understanding of control panel design and circuit troubleshooting.
  • Field commissioning experience is essential.

Nice To Have

  • Experience with Ignition, AutoCAD Electrical, Python, Java, or SQL.
  • Exposure to motor controls, panel BOMs, and industrial networking (Ethernet/IP).
